Jon studied on the Fashion course at Knights Park between 1976 and 1979, before moving on to a highly successful career with Hardy Amies and as an independent designer. During his time at Kingston, Jon achieved prize-winning results in many projects, including winning a Bentalls Scholarship, Saga Mink and a Limota travel fund. The pages reproduced here from Jon’s portfolio demonstrate the projects, designs and working methods of a fashion student in the late 1970s.
