These images originate from a ‘Double Jersey’ sketch design project run in second year in association with Jill Lawrence, a designer for Marks & Spencer. This was a week-long sketch project, meaning the designs developed here were never intended to be made up into the finished articles. As a result, students could experiment with different ideas – as in Tim’s letter printed coat shown here. These designs are from academic year 1975/6.
