Time Capsule 1953
To commemorate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953, a time capsule was placed in the central Quadrangle of Knights Park. These photographs document the ceremony. See the separate entry about the LRC redevelopment when this capsule was removed from the sculpture plinth and reburied!
