1970s First Year Fashion

1970s First Year Fashion

Thanks to Tim Guilbride for sharing his excellent Fashion portfolio, giving us an insight into the processes and styles associated with the award-winning Fashion course at Kingston in the 1970s.

Tim relays that during the first year there were 3 major projects undertaken: a cotton dress, a wool dress, and a silk dress. Other aspects of the first year course included 2 week-long sketch design projects, which were not made up to completion, illustration training, and accessories.
